maximum moisture - our most hydrating skincare
What’s the secret to skin that looks plump, dewy and healthy every day?
When the skin is fully hydrated, it reflects light (rather than absorbing it, which dry skin can do – hence the dull appearance), giving the skin a glowy sheen. High-performance moisture (think Hyaluronic Acid) has the ability to maintain the skin’s youthful cushion and bounce by keeping the collagen fibers in hydrated suspension, protecting them from breakage. Plus, a healthy moisture barrier keeps the skin’s tone, texture and oiliness in balance, while keeping environmental toxins and pollutants out. It goes without saying, but of course moisture moisturizes, too, keeping dry, cracked, irritated and uncomfortable skin at bay.
Now that the cold weather is upon us, we thought we’d review our top Tata Harper moisturizers, in case you’re looking for a way to add a little more hydration to your daily routine. The bottom line: the more moisture, the better!
Nourishing Oil Cleanser: Cleansing with an oil is a great way to get more out of your face wash, moisture-wise, at least. Our Oil cleanser has 11 high-performance ingredients that dissolve makeup, dirt and debris from pores, while maintaining a healthy, hydrated moisture barrier. It can work wonders on the skin’s texture, leaving it velvety-smooth.
Hydrating Floral Essence: This essence is the perfect second step to your skincare routine after cleansing; the lightweight mist helps to moisturize the skin by aiding our skin’s ability to natural hydrate itself with biocompatible Hyaluronic Acid. We suggest not only using your essence after cleansing but also throughout the day, even on top of your makeup, to keep your skin hydrated.
Repairative Moisturizer: This is not your average moisturizer! Safflower Oleosomes in the rich formula help preserve the skin’s natural moisture barrier, while biocompatible Hyaluronic Acid delivers hydration where it matters most. This is a great moisturizer to switch to if you’re feeling like your skin is dry by the end of the day!
Moisturizing Mask: If you don’t want to switch up the products you’re using in the daytime, a great way to add moisture to your regimen is to let the skin soak it up while you sleep. This Mask saturates the skin with Avocado Peptides along with Coconut, Tamanu and Bamboo oils – and 20 other hydrating ingredients, optimizing hydration levels for a satin finish and dewy appearance.
Redefining Body Balm: Our skincare balm not only helps to prevent and minimize the appearance of stretch marks but can also provide hydration to any areas of the body that are specifically dry. Throughout the winter I often use the balm on my elbows and ankles because those areas will often become dry in the winter months.
Rejuvenating Hand Cream: Certain areas of our bodies are simply more prone to dehydration than others (thanks to exposure and thin skin), such as elbows, ankles and often our hands. While we might bundle up in multiple layers throughout the winter, our hands are often exposed to hard, cold air more often. The Rejuvenating Hand Cream relieves dry, cracked skin and leaves the hands feeling soft and smooth. Irish Moss silicones act as a protective barrier to lock in lasting moisture, while our Estate Grown Beauty Complex delivers nutritious soothing benefits to the hands.
So there you have it, six key products to help prevent your skin from lacking moisture throughout these winter months!
